Dr Nader Darwich is a French-trained orthopedic surgeon whose areas of focus include arthroscopic surgery, knee ligament reconstruction and is expert in treating a variety of sports injuries. He obtained his Orthopedic qualifications from Nancy University/ France.He established the Abu Dhabi Knee & Sports Medicine Centre in 2006 to bring world class orthopedic care to Abu Dhabi and the UAE. In 2018, he established Burjeel Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center in Reem Island- Abu Dhabi.

Dr Darwich has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon for 35 years, and has performed more than 14,000 successful surgeries in the UAE  since he began practicing here in 1996. He has participated in over 70 international orthopedic and sports medicine conferences throughout Europe, North America and the Middle East. He is author of more than 20 publications in journal articles as well as book chapters in the field of Anterior Cruciate Ligament surgery.
