Fellowship-trained in Trauma Surgery at the Trauma Department, Hannover Medical School, Germany. Extensive experience managing complex adult and

paediatric trauma. This includes expertise in pelvic and acetabular injuries as well as

peri-articular fractures.

 

Fellowship trained in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), University of Toronto, Canada, with a focused interest in paediatric and adolescent hip preservation and limb reconstruction surgery. Extensive expertise in the use of all types of external fixators, including Ilizarov circular frames, hexapods, and mono-lateral external fixator systems.

 

Research interests centre on lower extremity deformity correction, limb lengthening, exstrophy-epispadias complex (EEC) and paediatric pelvic trauma surgery. Publications include 46 peer-reviewed research articles in orthopaedic journals, 10 book chapters, and 4 surgical technique videos published on the AAOS Orthopaedic Video Theater platform (video.aaos.org).
