Dr. Firasat Khan is a distinguished Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Head of Emergency Services at Emirates Health Services in Fujairah, UAE. With over 30 years of international experience across the UK, UAE, and Pakistan, he has held several senior roles within the UK’s NHS and has been recognized for his leadership in clinical governance, patient safety, and healthcare innovation.

A Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (UK) and Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Dr. Khan also holds an MBA and an MD in Family Medicine. He has led more than 50 clinical governance and quality improvement projects, achieving milestones such as zero ER mortality since 2021 and significant reductions in patient wait times.

An active academic and speaker, Dr. Khan has presented at numerous international conferences and authored over 40 research abstracts. He is also a recipient of the Emirates Health Services Innovation Award (2025) for his transformative contributions to digital healthcare systems.
